Persona5: The Phantom X Best Graphics Settings
Updated 2026-06-03
Persona5: The Phantom X looks gorgeous out of the box, but the default settings are not optimized for everyone. Here are the best graphics settings for maximum performance and visual quality.
Settings for 60 FPS (Mid-Range)
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 1920 x 1080 |
| Display Mode | Fullscreen |
| VSync | Off (use in-game cap) |
| Frame Rate Limit | 60 FPS |
| Texture Quality | High |
| Shadow Quality | Medium |
| Anti-Aliasing | SMAA |
| Post-Processing | Medium |
| Ambient Occlusion | SSAO (Low) |
| Volumetric Fog | Low |
| Motion Blur | Off |
| Depth of Field | Off |
Motion Blur and Depth of Field are the biggest performance killers. Turning them off gives an instant 10–15 FPS boost on mid-range hardware. The game's stylized art looks better without them anyway.
Settings for 30 FPS (Low-End)
If you are on minimum specs, drop everything to Low, set resolution to 1600x900 (or 1280x720), and force FSR through your GPU driver. The game's UI does not scale well below 720p, so avoid going lower. On a GTX 960, these settings should give a stable 30 FPS in all palaces except the Museum of Vanity (which drops to 20–25).
FAQ
- Does the game support ultrawide monitors?
- Not natively. 21:9 displays get black bars. You can use a hex edit workaround, but it may trigger anti-cheat.
- Can I uncap the frame rate?
- Yes. Set Frame Rate Limit to "Unlimited" in settings. The game can hit 144+ FPS on high-end hardware.
- Does lowering settings affect gameplay (reduced visibility)?
- No. Shadows and fog are purely cosmetic. Combat readability is unaffected.
